Hello yard game friends and intrigued fellows,
Donutball is a sweet new fun & versatile outdoors, indoors, pool, and outer space yard game that I invented in April 2025 and then tested on the Rhode Island beaches & grass patches with friends and family in Summer 2025, leading up to the 1st Annual Tournament last August with 10 teams playing on wood and plastic poles prototype sets. It was a blast and the competition got fierce!
Since then we perfected the game into a custom, injection molded high quality plastic kit with aluminum telescoping poles. We ran a Kickstarter Campaign in April-May and were 692% FUNDED, raising over $55K and selling sets to 30 countries! Now, we are back with the 2nd Annual RI Tourney and want to teach the game to more new friends. Our sets have finished production are shipping by ocean freight to the USA now and will start shipping to customers in SEPT 2026!
WARM UP:
We will be putting up the sets at 4:00 PM on SUN 8/23 for all Donut peoples that want to come and learn and/or practice for an hour. Parking at SK Town Beach is $25 during the weekend day and THEN at 5:00 PM IT'S FREE, so that is why we are starting then. You can always park on the street and then move your car. You are welcome to come with your family to the beach early and chill and then stay for the tourney. We will be moving fast to get the tourney in before dark!

- TOSS IT OFF THE DONUT & OPPONENT DOESN’T CATCH IT = 2 PTS
- CATCH AN AIRBALL OPPONENT THROWS = 1 PT
SPIRIT OF THE GAME RULES:
- PLAY 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, etc. MUST THROW WITH AN ARC (NO CHUCKING).
- ADULTS HAVE A DRINK IN ONE HAND; KIDS USE TWO HANDS!
- NO GOALTENDING (LET IT HIT THE DONUT).
- BALL MUST TOUCH THE FROSTING AND BOUNCE UP 3+ INCHES
- IN ONLY THE FRONT HALF OF DONUT. MUST BE “CATCHABLE”.
